Liberian-born American Fashion Designer, Korto Momolu visited Jamaica for the second time and brought her Resort 2012 collection along with her to partner with KERRY ManWomanHome boutique. On Wednesday, December 5, 2012 Kerry-Ann Clarke, founder of the boutique, held a bloggers' conference to formally introduce Korto to the Jamaican social media world. The meet & greet allowed bloggers (including myself) to really get up close and personal with Korto Momolu; and as a result will get the opportunity to see the premier of her Spring/Summer 2013 collection launch in Jamaica in March of next year.
Korto was first known by Jamaican fashion insiders and trendsetters through the American Fashion Design show called Project Runway. Korto was season 5's first runner up. Since then, she has been working on propelling herself in the fashion world. KERRY ManWomanHome welcomes the designer to do just that by exposing her collection to very fashionable Jamaicans.
