Brunch at Cafe Blue

Late one morning, in a rush to get to an event and no time to cook, I decided to get brunch at Cafe Blue in Sovereign Centre. I usually go there in the evening and occasionally for lunch when I have the time to sit and relax. That day, I literally dashed in and out (as fast as I could anyway). It seemed most people had the same idea as me to get brunch so it was sort of crowded. None the less, I got what I wanted and headed out, only stopping to take pictures of the food in the car. I ordered myself a Club Sandwich AND a Smoked Salmon Panini with a steaming hot cup of coffee to wash it all down. Man, was I hungry!

The Club Sandwich - chicken, ham, egg and cheese served with veggies on a bagel

Smoked Salmon Panini - salmon, pepper jack cheese and capers

Cafe Blue is a little on the expensive side but the food tastes great. And, if you feel like skipping the food and just having coffee then the variety is pretty good too. If you're not a hot beverage fan then try their Moccha - it's a kind of slushy topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. It's one of my favourite drinks to have. Maybe next time I visit I'll get the chance to take some pictures of the cafe just for my readers who've never been.
