Most recently, I was given the pleasure of having brunch with some of Jamaica's most fashionable ladies courtesy of the Jamaica Gleaner and Smart Eggs JA. We met up at Fromage Gourmet Market last Sunday and were greeted by coffee beverages from Cafe Blue. However, many of us opted for mimosas to get the conversations going. Interestingly the mimosas came in a non-traditional flavour too - yummy sorrel. It looks like I'll have to learn how to make those for Christmas.
The day was nothing short of beautiful - clear sky, warm sunshine and cool breeze. It wasn't long before the table was buzzing with conversations of fabulous topics. It wasn't all chatter though. We each took time out to be photographed and also to place our brunch orders which was of utmost importance.
Gleaner's Lifestyle Assistant Editor, Garfene Grandison posed for my camera after I posed for his.
Our grumbling bellies awaited the delight that the menu so wonderfully translated. And then the food arrived. I may have been holding my breath because I felt myself sigh happily when I saw my scrambled eggs placed in front of me.
The food was de-licious. I had great expectations and they were more than fulfilled. The company was nice. The day was lovely. I couldn't ask for more...well maybe some dessert. But, there's always another time for that. I captured the day as best as I could to share with you guys.

I hope these pictures give you an idea of the experience I had. This is definitely something I want to do again.
